Our Summer workshops assistants
You cannot teach robotics without the passion and hands-on learning experience yourself. In addition, it is extremely important for the instructors and assistants to have "thinking outside the box" and trouble-shooting skills. Bringing in the professional who possess those attributes will make the tuition prohibitive to most.  Therefore, we found our own high school roboclub students with stellar academic record are the best resource.
Our past workshops instructors/assistants
Traits that are common in all of our workshops assistants:
  • meeting academic excellence is simply one of the many other goals.
  • possessing great passion in computer technology and robotics;
  • working as our assistant even during the school year as well, not just the summer;
  • ability to exert the energy of trying your best attitude;
  • fully appreciative of challenging fun from robotics. No surprise there because they themselves once were  Storming Robots students.
Our past instructors who once were also students attending Storming Robots.
Kevin Fritz - Our past computer science student and instructor assistant. Kevin, like most of our roboclub students, has stellar academic record.  He graduated from High School in 2010, and entered the University of Pennsylvania, majoring Material Science and Engineering.

Gawain Lau - Our past roboclub member and instructor. Gawain, like most of our roboclub students, has stellar academic record. He earned the National AP Scholar. He graduated from High School in 2009, and entered the University of Pennsylvania, majoring Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.

Johnny Wang - Our past roboclub student and instructor.  Like most of our roboclub students, was an honor student in high school.   He graduated from high school in 2008, and entered the Lehigh University, majoring in computer science.

James Wittel - Our past roboclub member and instructor assistant. His many robotics competition achievements have earned him scholarship to study at NJIT Summer Engineering program.  He is also a teen-entrepreneur. He owns and runs his own company called JPEX Production (a photography/videoing firm), as well as create a small web farm for his friends at his basement.
